TROUBLE

This is yours truly and Trouble Andrew sitting on tiny couches at SXSW............ aaaaand my favourite song off his 'trouble gang' mixtape.

SO MUCH

March has been action packed so far. i went to the south by southwest music convention in austin texas, caught up with bff MPhazes from australia and invaded his/his agents hotel room for 3 days, hung out with boogielind (x-ecutioners), mela machinko, pharoah monch, jean grae, mr len, talib queli, statik, emilio rojas, and made some new contacts. and i got drunk. very drunk. for most of the time.
also linked up with trouble andrew (crunk rock extroadinaire and santigold's man) and a couple of the coolest kids from his trouble gang which was awesome, and only really happened because i got to austin 9 hours before mphazes and the trouble boys were only happy to have me tag along with them.
rolled back into nyc to dive straight back into work, but last night went to the trouble andrew album leak party which was FREAKIN AWESOME. i've never really known much about this particular genre of music, and regardless of the fact that there were BARE hipsters there, i've totally fallen in love with the scene.
afterwards i had a meeting with mr. boomtown ('duurtiest hiphop director in the south') as homegirl tamia from melbourne had put me onto a modelling casting earlier in the day, and it went rather well. needless to say, i got very drunk. standard.
so much for my week of not drinking... i think i made it 2 days...

oh yeah! and i very briefly met stunnaman at sxsw (he as affiliated with the trouble gang), which had me a lil startstruck - because i LOVE The Pack) - and means i am one step closer to meeting my future husband lil B.
i'm not even going to say anything to him when i eventually meet him. i'm just going to run up to him, hold his hand for 5 seconds, and then run away giggling like the little girl i am.

i have literally played this song 3 times a day, everyday, for the last month.... and it just keeps getting better....
giggs - sexiest voice in grime. wiley - this is one of my favourite verses of his. trigga - never hear much of him before but i go from head nod to full on body bop when he comes in.

i very rarely use the twitter account fraksha convinced me to create last year (@BizRegal), but very occasionally someone reaches out to me and i make a rad new contact or am introduced to something i love.

this track is one of those things. i am really digging it.

concept for the video is nice - though i honestly don't really like how it was executed..... it's GOOD... but i think it could have been GREAT...

couldn't be more proud of chadwick on this one. VERY different to the original version i heard (years ago now) when i was living in london, but no less original. the video is something i could watch over and wish it were longer every time.
